ODL Group Ltd was formed in April 2003 following a management buyout of the General Insurance division of the O’Donoghue Lindsay Group. A well-established New Zealand owned brokerage, we have been in business since 1974 and transact business throughout New Zealand.
In 2008, the management team made a decision to join Brokerweb which is a consortium of 38 respected New Zealand owned and operated Insurance Brokers who recognise the enhanced value gained by working together as a significant group. This has now been taken a step further with ODL Group Limited becoming a part of 'Brokerweb Risk Services Limited'. This latest move strengthens ODL Groups position in the market and brings about even further opportunities to strengthen our client offerings from new policy development to even greater assistance for claims settlements.
Our Brokers have combined industry experience in excess of 150 years and are more than ably assisted by some of the best Account Executives in the insurance industry.
Whilst ODL Group Ltd specialises in Fire & General Insurance, within the Group we also have access to other lines including Medical, Life & Disability, Mortgage and Investments.
What has helped to make us "different from the rest" is our in-house claims service. We employ our own people to deal with our claims; after all, that's what this business is all about. Rather than rely on the insurance company to "get around to it", our team is there to ensure your claim is handled as quickly and as fairly as possible. Our claims staff were selected on reputation and merit; we wanted the best - our clients deserve nothing less! Such is the success of this team, our business has grown significantly due to the positive feedback and referrals this has generated. What more can be said?!
